“Our house is 1580 sq ft and we bought the heater that heats 700 sq ft. Our house is completely open and It heats our whole house. We run 2 ceiling fans and our house stays warm. During the day we turn the heater way down or it gets too hot. This heater really puts out heat! We just started using it so I haven’t gotten a heating bill. When the heater is cold or at room temperature, it will take a few minutes for the burner(s) tile to turn bright orange. This is normal and the heater is working properly. When operating the heater at altitudes over 7,000 FT. above sea level, the unit may not burn as bright as in lower altitudes. This is normal. At higher altitudes, the heater may shut-off. If this happens, provide fresh air, wait 5 minutes and re-light.
